Aruna Sankaranarayanan is a graduate student in EECS at MIT, where she’s researching text based disinformation. In the past, she has created the Presidential Deepfakes Dataset and probed how we discern between what is real and fake given different modalities of information. Her earlier work spans the areas of geospatial data, digital education, and free and open source software.
