Dr. Amit Bermani is a senior lecturer (assistant professor) at the Blavatnik School of Computer Science in Tel-Aviv University. His research focuses on Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and Computational Fabrication (3D printing). He uses Machine Learning and Geometry Processing to advance and connect these fields.
Previously, he was a postdoctoral Researcher at the Princeton Graphics Group, hosted by Professor Szymon Rusinkiewicz and Professor Thomas Funkhouser.
Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Disney Research Zurich. He has conducted his Ph.D. studies at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Gross, in collaboration with the computational materials group of Disney Research Zurich.
His Masters and Bachelors degrees were obtained at The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Craig Gotsman.
